This is a key role is our HSEQT (Health & Safety, Quality, Environmental, Training) function. You’ll be responsible for the coordination of HSEQT activities at WWB, to ensure that the business is meeting compliance requirements and BAU activities are maintained. We’re after an energetic and persuasive professional, able to lead active engagement in “safety always” and champion safety compliance primarily in our Auckland site.
Reporting to the Health and Safety Manager this role will work in conjunction with operational leaders developing, implementing and operating best practice safety systems to meet customer needs and business objectives. You will also be required to manage training requirements and needs including, records, renewing certificates and booking courses. You’ll need to manage training supplier relationships and costs.
You will also work closely and support the Human Resource Manager on Learning and Development initiatives and projects including talent planning and training programmes.
This role will be varied and busy and will have you involved in all aspects of Health and Safety.
You’ll need a health and safety related qualification or an interest in health and safety. Experience of working in a similar working environment will be largely advantageous.
