Firth is a leading supplier of ready mixed concrete, masonry products and premix to the construction industry either directly or through building product distributors. It has over 2,500 active customer accounts and its products are used across all building sectors and environments. Firth has a team of approximately 650 people, working in 85 operational sites throughout New Zealand. It's divided into three main product groups, Certified, Masonry and Dricon.
The position is for a Customer Service/dipatcher based at Napier– you will be responsible for ensuring the plant is clean and tidy, assembling orders, loading and unloading product from trucks using a fork hoist and liaising with customers face to face. The main focus if the role will be to provide excellent customer service by the prompt, accurate, timely processing and facilitation of customer orders. Ensuring the efficient allocation of orders to trucks and cost-effective receipt and delivery of orders that are in full, on time, in spec (DIFOTIS). You will be responsible in assembling, stacking and wrapping finished product to specification in a timely fashion and to load and unload carriers in order to meet dispatch schedules and provide excellent customer service.
• Hold a current NZ Full Driver Licence and F Endorsement & current OSH
• Sufficient in operating a Forkhoist.
• Be able to lift objects up to 25kgs in weight
• Be able to handle manual labour
• Have strong attention to detail
