PipeWorks is the local leader and award winning NZ contractor in trenchless pipeline rehabilitation, operating within the Brian Perry Civil framework. Together we are part of Fletcher Building, a diversified global building industry company.
Due to a growing forward workload, we are looking for a Senior Site Engineer to join our Auckland PipeWorks business.
This is a great opportunity for an engineer with a relevant qualification and prior post grad site or project based exposure within the contracting sector to continue to develop their experience with an organisation committed to the on-going development of their staff, combined with a sustainable forward workbook.
As a Senior Site Engineer your project delivery track record would include drainage, water, wastewater and general civil works. As such this role will provide you with strong exposure to this engineering sector which is in strong demand nationally.
You will have strong interpersonal and communication skills which will allow you to proactively supervise and monitor staff to deliver work on programme, within spec and budget.
You will have good planning skills and the ability to effectively deal with a range of site based challenges as a result of your ability to come up with innovative and cost effective solutions. Your commitment to ensuring the highest standards of Health & Safety, environmental and quality management will be another strength. This role, in terms of career development, will lead towards the position of Project Engineer, and so this is something you will have you sights set on.

- The hours of work will be typically Monday – Friday (7am-5pm) but may include weekends/overtime as needed e.g minimum 44 hours per week but up to 60 hours.
