Description

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an entry-level Plant Machine Operator. In this role, you will produce masonry blocks to specification, ensuring consistent levels of quality as per the plant’s production schedule.

Shift Details - PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING

Rotating Shifts: One week on day shift, the next week on night shift
Day Shift: 4:00am to 2:00pm (may extend to 12 hours and include Saturday morning work)
Night Shift: 2:00pm to Midnight (may extend to 12 hours)
*Flexibility in finishing hours is required as both day and night shifts can be extended to 12 hours with business demand.

What We Can Offer:

Guaranteed 40 hours per week
Time and a half for all work performed after 50 hours

Key Responsibilities:

Operate machinery to produce masonry blocks as per specifications
Maintain consistent quality in line with the production schedule
Communicate effectively with team members to ensure efficient production
Adhere to health and safety standards to keep yourself and others safe

What We Are Looking For:

Excellent and clear communication skills to facilitate efficient discussions within the team
Mechanically minded with a background in manufacturing is a bonus
Positive attitude and willingness to learn not only the basics of machine production but in time other elements onsite, including block machine and loader operations
Forklift license is an extra bonus
High level of health and safety awareness to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and those around you
