Laminex New Zealand is part of the Fletcher Building group with two manufacturing sites in Hamilton and Taupo, distribution centres in Auckland, Wellington, and Christchurch, and 9 sales branches nationwide.

Our Hamilton Plant (which runs 24/7) is looking for an upbeat, positive and reliable person to join our team. At our plant we pride ourselves on working in a clean dry factory where safety comes first. We all go home safely to our family and friends as one team.

This role is diverse and provides a rotation on work areas so you are able to learn and grow. This could involve preparing the paper to go into the machines, preparing resin, working on outfeed, monitoring and testing as well as packing and wrapping.

Shift times: Week 1: Monday - Thursday 5am-5pm

Week 2: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 5pm - 5am

Here’s what we are looking for:

Positive, can do attitude is an absolute must!
Strong Health & Safety awareness
The ability to follow processes and systems
Good attention to detail in order to QC products
Excellent communication skills
Preferred - Forklift license (OSH)
Experience in Manufacturing - advantageous in a continuous process environment blending and application processes
Good level of fitness and agility
