Waipapa Pine, part of Fletcher Building, is a well-established producer of high-quality sawn timber products located in Northland, with sites in Waipapa and Whangārei. Right now, we are looking for keen, dedicated and hardworking staff to join our Production Teams at our Waipapa Sawmill, near Kerikeri. As a Mill Hand in our green mill, you will play a crucial role in daily operations of our sawmill. Your responsibilities will include operating and maintaining sawmill machinery, ensuring the smooth and efficient processing of lumber. You will be expected to handle various tasks such as feeding logs in to the sawmill, sorting and stacking lumber, and performing routine maintenance on equipment.

If you have the following, we would love to hear from you:

Previous experience in a sawmill or similar environment preferred.
Physically fit with ability to lift and stack heavy timber.
Commitment to workplace safety.
Stable work history.
Drivers Licence and reliable transport.
Pass a pre-employment medical and drug test.
