Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Learning and Development Business Partner to join the Higgins Team on a parental leave cover, 12-month fixed term contract.

Reporting to the L&D Manager, you will partner with our regional leadership and EHSQ teams to identify, analyse and evaluate effective and efficient L&D solutions that improve Higgins business performance, compliance requirements, employee capability, and talent management. 

This is a true partner role that requires you to build strong relationships with stakeholders, understand their business, its learning and development needs and implement solutions which enable the business.

What you will bring to the role:
  • Four to six years’ experience in a similar L&D role
  • Relevant experience within Roading or Construction industry or large and complex organization will be advantageous
  • Experience with recognised Learning and Management Systems and/or Competency Management Systems. Knowledge with Pegasus and/or Cornerstone is desirable. 
  • Proven track records of development and implementing L&D solutions in line with business needs
  • Knowledge of compliance training for large organisations
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including strategic and operational partnering, influencing and excellent verbal and writing communication skills
  • Experienced in project management skills and ability to get things delivered in collaboration with key stakeholders
