About the opportunity

Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate processing of payrolls and associated reporting.

The role

  • Accurate Payroll Processing: Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll for all employees, including salary calculations, deductions, and adjustments.
  • Compliance and Record Keeping: Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Employee Support: Handle payroll queries and provide exceptional support to staff, addressing any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with HR and finance teams to streamline payroll processes and improve efficiency.
  • Reporting: Prepare and distribute payroll reports as required, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

About you

  • To be successful in this role you will have:
  • A solid working knowledge of CHRIS 21
  • 3+ experience with Australian payroll
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Demonstrated priorities management and problem solving capability
  • Proficient user of MS Office (including Microsoft Word and Excel)
  • Understand or be able to interpret a variety of awards/EBA agreements
