Description

The Role:

You will be responsible for the effective day-to-day operation of the Cutting and Framing team, also including:

A hands-on people leader to a solid team of 8 staff who can provide strategic leadership and mentoring to drive them to continue to meet and exceed high standards of production operations
Focusing on strategic planning and continuous improvement to maintain excellence in all aspects of operations within this site
Ensuring compliance to regulatory EHS and quality systems to maintain a safe working environment

This is a permanent full-time role, offering 43.75 hours a week, Monday-Friday, based in our Richmond, Nelson plant.

Skills & Experience:

Our ideal candidate will have relevant supervisory experience in a team leadership role and have confident and clear communication skills. You will need the commitment and leadership ability to drive your team to meet and exceed high standards of delivery & performance.

Previous experience in frame & truss manufacturing or general construction preferable
Knowledge of the building industry and supplies or Qualifications in Carpentry are desired
Commitment to high standards of health and safety in the workplace
Clean, full NZ Drivers Licence is a must and will ideally you will hold Health and Safety Qualifications
