Description

The role:
This is varied role working across the branch that will see you involved in serving customers on the trade counter and in the yard & Drive Thru area. As well as getting customer order ready for despatch. You will be working in a team of 15 operation staff under the guidance of an experienced and supportive leader. 

  • Ensure that our customers, who are made up of trades, businesses and homeowners, are greeted with a cheerful smile and exceptional service
  • Process sales at our trade counter
  • Loading of goods on to customer vehicles
  • Assist customer with any returns or repairs 
  • Pulling orders to get them ready for delivery
  • Assisting as directed to ensure an efficient warehouse is maintained
  • Cycle counting, stocking and rotating products on shelves
This is a permanent full-time role, offering 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday with one rostered Saturday (8am-12pm) a month. 

About you:
To shine in this role, you’ll need to be an organised and reliable team player who enjoys working in a close-knit team. Have a customer-focused and outgoing attitude and good work ethic. The ideal candidate will need to be flexible as this role will see you working across a few departments in one day. 

  • Excellent communication skills and be fluent in both Mandarin and English 
  • Proven experience in a customer service or warehouse experience, ideally in the trade industry. 
  • There will be manual handling, and some heavy lifting required so you’ll need to be physically fit and have solid health and safety values
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport to support our valued customers
  • A motivated, self-driven worker, with the skill to work proactively, independently as well as in a team environment 
  • Be confident with computers and learning new systems
  • A Full New Zealand drivers’ licence is essential, and a forklift licence an advantage.
