About Our Role

This Customer Service Representative role is slightly different to some, we are looking for someone with enthusiasm, capability, personality and an understanding of supporting customer, both internal and external with technical product enquiries. Our Civil Sector at Iplex Strathpine is looking to increase the number of customer service team members to ensure that all clients get a high level of experience every time the make contact.

You are going to be tech-savvy, and confident on digital platforms so that you can record and source information efficiently. You will be comfortable working in a high volume, fast paced environment often having to use methodical problem solving to create solutions to our customer problems. You are hands down an individual who prides themselves on exceeding customer expectations and constantly pushes themselves to achieve high-class service every time you take a call! Ideally you will come from a technical product background where you are also dealing with cross functional teams.

Skills and Experience
  • Previous experience working with technical products or an understanding of the Civil, Mining or Building Products Industries
  • The ability to influence and negotiate with our customers and be able to design solutions to support customer needs
  • Understand how to work in a fast-paced, high volume customer service environment
  • Sound knowledge of SalesForce or other CRM systems, along with confidence in digital software
  • Ability to manage various inquiries at once in a timely and efficient way
  • Excellent with Administration, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal skills when building relationships with our cross-functional teams
  • Confident in learning new skills, willing to learn and work as a part of team
