Where Your Story Begins

Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for sales and team development? Laminex is looking for a Field Sales Manager to lead from the front and mentor a team of Account Managers. You'll create an agile, high-performance sales team focused on delivering our strategy.

This business-critical role will focus on:
  • Leading from the front as a customer-facing Field Sales Manager.
  • Developing and mentoring a team of Account Managers.
  • Creating an agile, high-performance sales team focused on delivering the Laminex strategy.
  • Developing, implementing, and successfully executing appropriate sales strategies and tactics to achieve the annual profit plan.
  • Achieving KPIs including net sales, gross profit, and sales-related operational costs.

What GREAT Looks Like:
  • Provides leadership to the Field Sales team, prioritising creating a high-performance culture.
  • Drives alignment to the state sales strategy.
  • Manages, monitors, and coaches on industry-best utilisation of the SalesForce CRM for call cycles, customer objectives, sales activations, and customer asset deployment.
  • Maintains solid relationships with key customer accounts and supports the team to demonstrate the same relationship management skills.
  • Carves out time to focus on wellbeing to drive high performance.


Knowledge & Competencies:
  • Extensive understanding of Primary Demand and the Sales Process.
  • Building and Construction Industry knowledge.
  • Experience with SalesForce or similar CRM.
  • Strategic mindset and solution-based selling background.
  • High-level communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Effective stakeholder management skills.

Experience & Personal Attributes:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales.
  • Management experience in the Building Industry.
  • Team player with a positive and energetic attitude.
  • Adaptable, resilient, and organized.
  • Motivating and engaging leader.
