The Role

We are seeking a driven leader to help our team to meet performance while creating a safe and supportive work environment.

The role involves leading and directing shift employees with a focus on ZERO HARM and continuous improvement in production and loading processes. You will lead Toolbox meetings, ensure compliance to quality and communicate with employees and key stakeholders.

Join us to drive seamless operations and optimise our manufacturing processes in Maddington, WA.

Day to Day Responsibilities include:
  • Safety is our number ONE priority. You will ensure the operation supports our successful pathway towards a national target of Zero Harm.
  • Lead, develop, coach and manage reporting staff and build employee engagement.
  • Direct all site shift production and loading activities for the achievement of business objectives, process targets, increased profit and volume growth.
  • Assist with implementation of Lean manufacturing principles across the site including product loading and supporting site improvements.
  • Continuously improve manufacturing effectiveness by focusing on head count, wastage and non-value adding processes.
  • Ensure a consistent approach in all areas of loading and production performance including the cross skilling of teams and individuals.
  • Provide constructive feedback and on the job training aimed at improving future performance and employee competency.
  • Conduct regular toolbox safety meetings ensuring all employees are informed about relevant issues.

  • Exposure to principles of lean manufacturing in either formal environment of on the job experience would be advantageous.
