Delivery Driver / Storeperson – EasySteel (Nelson/Marlborough)

Are you an experienced and reliable driver with a knack for organization? EasySteel is looking for a motivated Delivery Driver/Storeperson to join our team in the beautiful Nelson/Marlborough region.

About the role:

In this dynamic position, you’ll be responsible for ensuring timely and safe delivery of steel products to our customers while maintaining efficient warehouse operations.

The role is a perfect blend of both Storeperson and Driver, this includes picking orders, putting stock away, loading and unloading trucks, securing loads, and delivering to customer sites mainly around the Nelson region but we do venture to Blenheim or Golden Bay, occasionally.

Your responsibilities will include:

Safely operating company vehicles to transport goods
Loading and unloading steel products
Maintaining accurate delivery records and inventory control
Assisting with general store operations and stock management
Providing excellent customer service; as the face of the company delivering to site, you’ll need to be friendly and approachable

What we’re looking for:

A valid and clean NZ driver’s license (Class 2, and F endorsement are preferred)
Gantry crane experience
Proven experience in delivery driving and/or warehousing
Ability to lift and handle steel products safely
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
A team player with a positive attitude
