Our Traffic Team division is expanding, and we are excited to announce a newly created position for an experienced TMP Planner. This is an exceptional opportunity to join us during a period of growth and make a meaningful impact. As a TMP Planner, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our Traffic Department.


About the role

As a key player in the safe delivery of local and state highway projects, you'll create and submit TMP layouts, manage approvals, and ensure plans are up-to-date and compliant. You’ll work closely with the Traffic Operations Manager, Project Managers, delivery teams and local councils to minimise traffic disruption and ensure worker safety.


What you will enjoy doing

  • Prepare and submit traffic plans in line with CoPTTM/NZGTTM
  • Collaborate with project teams to optimise traffic management
  • Ensure safety through early identification of risks and implement solutions
  • Liaise with RCAs for timely TMP approvals
  • Provide TTM advice and problem-solve on-site issues


What you’ll bring to the role

  • TMP preparation knowledge – NZTA warrant as a TMP Planner or designer is preferred or working towards
  • 1+ years experience using AutoCAD or RapidPlan 
  • Traffic management experience
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral
  • Class 1 license is essential
  • STMS qualifications Cat A&B NP
