About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a growth strategy that will deliver significant impact on business performance. We are seeking a visionary and commercially driven Sales Leader to join Iplex as the Head of Sales, a key member of our Senior Leadership Team, reporting directly to the General Manager. This role can be based in Sydney, Melbourne, or Brisbane.

You will play a critical role in leading our national sales strategy across multiple channels, while championing innovation, market expansion, and deep customer engagement. Your leadership will be instrumental in driving sustainable growth and delivering customer-centric solutions. Ideally, your national leadership experience will come from the Building Materials sector, with strong knowledge of the Civil & Infrastructure segments. Your expertise in large-scale project management and contract negotiations will be highly valued, as will your experience operating within an ASX-listed or complex business environment.

Success in this role will require strong cross-functional collaboration and the ability to foster open, trusted communication across the organisation. You will be passionate about developing and empowering your leaders, ensuring they inspire and mentor high-performing teams. You will also be confident in leveraging CRM systems and digital platforms to drive data-informed decisions, long-term forecasting and market analysis.

Skills and Experience
  • Proven national leadership experience, ideally within the civil, construction, or building materials industries 
  • Demonstrated success leading large sales teams within a complex national business environment 
  • Strong capability in designing and delivering compelling, data-driven presentations at both business and executive levels 
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Engineering and/or relevant post graduate qualifications 
  • Commercially astute, with a track record of making financially sound decisions aligned to business strategy 
  • Experience in building and sustaining high-performing teams through engagement, training, and development 
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and support transformational change initiatives 
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, Excel, PowerPoint, and other digital tools 
  • Strong commitment to safety leadership, compliance, and continuous improvement 
  • Deep expertise in sales strategy, influencing key decisions, and managing complex contract negotiations 
  • Willingness to travel interstate for site visits, customer meetings, and industry events
