The Role

Drive data-powered decision-making as our Data and Insights Manager. Reporting to the Head of Digital for the Residential and Development Division, you’ll lead data-driven initiatives, ensuring seamless management of reporting and analytics. You’ll take charge of transforming complex data into actionable insights. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Develop, implement and lead the delivery of a data strategy that aligns with Divisional business goals and inform business decisions.
  • Lead and manage a team, providing support, feedback, and fostering professional development.
  • Ensure high-quality data transformation and develop effective reports and dashboards.
  • Monitor and report on key drivers of Divisional performance, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Develop and enhance management reports and dashboards, adhering to BI frameworks and standards.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders to deliver accurate reporting and analysis.
  • Actively demonstrate and ensure safe work practices and support the implementation of HS&E procedures.
  • Conduct financial and operational analysis to support strategic initiatives and business planning.

About You  
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role ideally with a tertiary qualification in finance and/or technology discipline is required.
  • Strong business acumen with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Leadership/ team management  would be advantageous but not essential
  • Proven experience in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Proficient in analysing and interpreting complex data sets.
  • Experience with BI data warehousing principles and platforms.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and MS SQL.
  • Ability to simplify complex commercial, technical, and financial issues.
  • Creative problem-solving skills for complex issues.
  • Experience in representing data in clear written and visual formats.
  • Strategic planning and operational management experience in similar environments.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and knowledge sharing with a growth mindset.
