We're now looking for a People & Performance (P&P) Manager who can match that pace, lead from the front, and drive performance across our national network.

About the Role
This role leads the P&P agenda for Mico’s 500+ team members across 68 branches nationwide. You’ll be part of the Mico Senior Leadership Team, working closely with the GM Mico and reporting into the GM People & Performance for NZ Distribution. You’ll lead a small team (Advisor and Coordinator) and work closely with our Learning, Talent, and other specialist teams to execute well.

You’ll be responsible for:
  • Driving a high-performance culture and leadership mindset across the business
  • Translating business strategy into a focused, measurable people plan
  • Leading and delivering key people programmes (engagement, remuneration, goal setting, performance) with discipline and impact
  • Using insight and influence on challenge mindsets and drive change
  • Bringing a strong commercial lens to all people activity, ensuring alignment with customer and business outcomes

This role is a permanent full-time role based from our Support office in Penrose. 

About You

  • Being outcome-focused and grounded in what drives performance
  • Delivering people programmes with structure, discipline and follow-through
  • Asking the hard questions, challenging assumptions and pushing for better
  • Making complexity simple – cutting through to what matters
  • Understanding the frontline and bringing a customer-first mindset

Ideally, you've led a small team, worked in multi-site or operational environments, and enjoy working shoulder-to-shoulder with business leaders.
