The Role

This role offers the opportunity to help grow our franchise network; Fair Dinkum Builds, a well-established market leader in the buildings construction industry. Reporting to the National Franchise Marketing Manager, you will help launch new initiatives that enhance the value proposition to the existing network and build the attractiveness to potential new franchisees.

Join our small marketing team and help drive the Fair Dinkum Brand (B2C) working with external agencies on both lead generation and branding campaigns. You will also provide marketing support to our Franchise network (B2B). This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced brand and or channel marketing specialist, who loves working on a national brand and with Independent Business owners.

Based in Crestmead, the Brand Manager assists in developing and executing sound marketing plans, whilst ensuring our content is fresh and relevant to our target markets. This role will be a key contributor and influencer across all facets of marketing.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Brand Marketing Communications and campaigns (brand and lead generation) including creating and implementing projects and seeing them through to completion
  • SEO and SEM ownership and management
  • Promotions, Marketing plan and strategy development and execution
  • Market research and competitor data, SWOT analysis and performance data review
  • Brief and manage Agencies on specific projects as directed
  • Manage specific project A&P budgets and reconciliations of project spend
  • Work collaboratively with sales and franchise support teams to develop practical and effective programs

What we need from you:
  • Marketing degree with proven in house marketing experience
  • 7+ years experience in brand management or marketing
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to influence decisions in a matrix environment, including senior level leaders
  • Ability to think creatively and to contribute to both strategic and tactical decisions
  • Analytical ability and understanding of forecast and sales data
  • Demonstrated ability to lead large, cross-functional initiatives or projects
  • You have exceptional time management skills and have fantastic communication skills both verbally and written
  • Franchise and or Distributor network experience highly regarded
