As Financial Controller, you’ll ensure the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of financial reporting, lead a talented team, and drive continuous improvement across our business.
You’ll be part of Fletcher Building, a group committed to supporting your growth, wellbeing, and success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Financial Accounting, Accounts Payable, Customer Administration, and Inventory functions.
- Oversee capital management, balance sheet reconciliations, and compliance with accounting standards (including IFRS).
- Deliver accurate and timely monthly reporting, and manage all group financial queries.
- Ensure successful completion of internal and external audits, and timely tax submissions.
- Champion process improvement in AP, AR, invoicing, pricing, credit, and bank processes.
- Manage and enhance financial systems (LN, Cognos, TM1, Hyperion).
- Foster a high-performance culture, developing and supporting your team.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners, including sales, operations, customers, banks, and auditors.
What You’ll Bring:
- CA qualification.
- Proven experience in financial accounting leadership.
- Strong process improvement capability and drive.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and inspire others.
