About the Role

Are you a dynamic, people-centric leader ready to lead the transformation of our valued customer’s experience? We’re looking for a Customer Delivery Lead to oversee our warehouse and despatch operations, managing everything from material consolidation, transport coordination and rapid recovery practices. This is a key leadership role where you’ll drive safety, efficiency, and team capability to deliver outstanding results for our customers.

Working closely with both national and local support teams, you’ll passionately drive DIFOT improvement initiatives, embed a culture of ’better together’, and ensure our systems and processes reflect industry best practice. Key Responsibilities
  • Champion Safety: Lead a safety-first culture and embed Zero Harm principles.
  • Customer relations: close communication with our customers to ensure deliveries and production activities are made in line with requirements for an exceptional customer experience.
  • Drive Performance: Facilitate an ever-improving customer experience through DIFOT and order consolidation accuracy.
  • Build Capability: Coach and mentor, a high-performing team to enhance capability and engagement.
  • Optimise Operations: Leverage systems and technology to drive efficiency and cultural uplift.
  • Manage Resources: Oversee budgets, optimise costs, and maximise resource utilisation.
  • Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives to enhance DIFOT performance.
  • Collaborate: Partner with internal and external stakeholders to deliver customer excellence.

About You
  • Proven leadership experience in manufacturing, construction materials, or FMCG.
  • Strong people engagement and coaching capabilities.
  • Thrives on autonomous working environments
  • Excellent communication and business acumen.
  • Knowledge of systems such ERP system (M3, M4, SAP or similar) and reporting and analysis tools (Qlik, power BI).
  • Financial and operational decision-making capability.
  • A proactive mindset that challenges the status quo and drives innovation.
  • Keen to progress their career
