Description

As a Sales Representative for Mico you’ll develop and grow a portfolio of customers through business development, sales and account management across Silverdale, Warkworth and Mangawhai. Spending time on the road engaging with prospective customers, attending industry events, and staying up to date with market trends to attract new business. Your success will come from persistence turning challenges into wins, converting leads into loyal customers, and staying motivated even when the answer is “no.” You’ll manage the full sales process building strong relationships and delivering tailored solutions that make a real impact.

This is a Permanent Full-time role (Monday to Friday 40 hours per week) and will include regular travel across your territory.

About You: 
To succeed in this role, you will be more than just a salesperson; you’ll be a natural hunter operating as a trusted advisor to our customers, who understands their needs and spots opportunities to make a real difference. You’ll be proactive in chasing leads, turning conversations into business, and building genuine connections that add true value.

  • Proven experience in sales, account management, or business development
  • Comfortable with cold calling and proactive in chasing leads 
  • Strong sales drive and resilience with a solutions-focused approach
  • Highly organised with excellent communication skills 
  • Tech-savvy and confident working across multiple systems 
  • Full NZ Class 1 driver’s licence required 
  • Knowledge of the plumbing or building industry is desirable but not essential 
  • Bring a strong work ethic, approachable nature, and commitment to great service
