And at the Amisfield Quarry, one of New Zealand's largest, we operate 21 hours a day, with 700 daily truck movements, producing 3.5 million tonnes of aggregate annually – that's equal to 800 Olympic swimming pools.

Who we are looking for: 

We are seeking skilled and proactive Quarry Operators to work our day shift between 6:00am to 5:30pm, with the occasional Saturday.  

In this role, you will support the daily operations of the quarry, with a focus on production and load-out tasks to ensure timely delivery of products to our customers. 

Having previous heavy machine experience within the quarry such as dump truck operation, excavators and loaders is an advantage and with time we can upskill and train you towards leading hand opportunities.

  • NZ Class 2 Drivers Licence with WTR  
  • Dump Truck, Excavator or Loader experience advantageous  
  • Be mechanically minded  
  • Right to work in New Zealand  
  • Decent level of fitness – there will be some manual heavy lifting  
  • Common sense and a healthy and positive attitude towards your work to ensure your teammates get home safely each day.
