Laminex New Zealand forms part of the Building Products division of Fletcher Building Products Ltd, and we are a trusted business partner for decorative surfaces and panel products, offering expert knowledge and exceptional value to our customers. 

We’re looking for a DC Operator/Warehouse Storeperson to join our Penrose Distribution team.  You’ll handle the efficient operation of warehouse activities, including receiving and dispatching goods, forklift operation, material storage, and packing laminate sheets and other components. Enjoy a consistent weekday schedule with no weekend shifts required. 

This is a full-time role - Monday to Friday (6:00 AM to 2:30 PM).

About the Role
  • Pick, assemble and pack orders to meet customer requirements.
  • Prepare despatch documentation and load for delivery.
  • Sign for inwards goods and ensure item count is correct. 
  • Run and/or complete the rolling stocktake process for all products.
  • Operating forklift, reach and counterbalance machines.
  • Accurately tracking and shipping orders.
  • Manual handling & moving products across the warehouse.

To be successful in this role, you will have the following:
  • Comfortable working at heights.
  • At least 1-2 current experience driving a Forklift/Counterbalance/Reach.
  • Previous experience working in warehousing & distribution environment.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills, including accurate data entry and confident navigation of systems to retrieve and manage information.
  • Experience with SAP or similar warehousing system advantageous.
  • Previous experience in a highly team-oriented environment, capable of performing manual lifting in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail and excellent coordination.
  • Open to learning and upskilling, with the ability to follow instructions and work.
  • Able to pick up overtime when required.
