As we invest in innovation and strengthen our market presence, we’re looking for a dynamic Regional Sales Manager to lead our South Island team in a growth phase to drive strategic sales execution.

About the Role
You’ll be part of the sales leadership team, managing 6 direct reports across Christchurch, Dunedin, and Otago. As Regional Sales Manager, you’ll be responsible for leading and coaching a high-performing sales team across the Southern region.  You’ll translate national sales strategies into actionable regional plans, taking ownership of budgets, KPIs, and forecasting to ensure supply chain readiness and growing the market share and achieving revenue targets. You will focus on building strong partnerships with key customers and stakeholders and driving excellence in customer experience and operational performance.

What We’re Looking For
  • At least 5 years’ experience managing a sales-focused team ideally with regional coverage. 
  • Proven ability to lead and coach sales teams, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture that consistently drives growth.
  • Ability to prepare and implement strategic sales plans aligned with company goals. 
  • Strong commercial acumen with expertise in P&L management, budgeting, and operational finance.
  • Analytical mindset with excellent forecasting and planning skills.
  • Highly collaborative with the ability to influence decisions through innovative solutions and customer-centric thinking.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with key decision makers.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with practical experience using CRM and ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of the building products or manufacturing industries or similar is an advantage.
