About the Role

As a Plant Operator you’ll operate heavy machinery and support the construction of temporary and permanent works to meet project quality and safety standards.


  • Operate plant and equipment safely and in line with project requirements
  • Carry out daily pre-start checks and maintain machinery to manufacturer standards
  • Follow work plans, lift plans, and site safety procedures
  • Assist with planning and resource coordination to meet project targets
  • Maintain clear communication with foreman and team members
  • Contribute to a positive safety culture and environmental compliance

What You’ll Bring

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in civil construction operating plant
  • Trade qualification or enrolled in relevant course
  • Current WTR endorsement and Site Safe Passport
  • Ability to read and follow lift plans and work instructions
  • Strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards
  • Good communication skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Physically fit and adaptable to changing site conditions
