About the Role
As an Urgent Delivery Driver at our Auckland DTS Facility based at The Gate on a fixed term 1 year contract, you’ll be an essential part of our transport and despatch operations while delivering outstanding service to our customers. Your role ensures accuracy, safety, and quality at every stage, supporting our commitment to excellence. This is a dynamic 50/50 position where you’ll spend some of your time delivering goods to customer sites, while also assisting in our busy Despatch area. Key responsibilities include:
  • Safely deliver goods to customer sites, ensuring timely and accurate service while representing our brand professionally. 
  • Unload and receipt goods accurately, maintain pallet stock, and keep the yard organized and clear. 
  • Prepare orders for next-day deliveries, ensuring correct markup and documentation. 
  • Efficiently and accurately pick orders, minimising damage and following safe manual handling practices. 
  • Load trucks accurately, check dispatch dockets, and maintain strong working relationships with drivers and customers. 
  • Follow all site safety procedures, adhere to forklift SOPs, and uphold high housekeeping standards.

About you
As well as an ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment you will ideally have:
  • Current OSH Forklift Certificate ideal, class 1 clean driving license with no conditions essential.
  • Solutions focused with a ‘customer first’ mindset.
  • Strong focus on health, safety, and quality standards.
  • Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
  • Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks such as lifting and carrying boards.
