We are on the lookout for our new Auckland Transport Manager; based at our Papakura site to lead and support our supervisors and wider driver teams to ensure the first-class service our customers have come to expect as standard. 

This role is key within the business, and you will have the ability to use data, trend analysis and commercial acumen coupled with people leadership skills that will support the growth of a high performing team.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and inspire transport teams across the Auckland region
• Foster a strong safety culture and empower your team to succeed
• Use data to maximise fleet utilisation and driver performance to meet targets
• Achieve sustainable cost positions while maintaining safety and quality standards
• Manage key transport partnerships and ensure strong performance outcomes
• Design workforce models to address driver shortages
• Champion innovation and continuous improvement in transport operations

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years’ experience in the transport industry, including 3+ years in management
• Practical knowledge of bulk haulage and fleet management
• Strong leadership skills with a focus on coaching and team development
• Financial acumen and ability to manage budgets effectively
• Comfortable with technology and reporting tools
• A tertiary qualification in transport, distribution, or related field is ideal
