The Opportunity
We're seeking passionate individuals who share our love for design and innovation to join us as Showroom Consultant in our Osborne Park Showroom in Perth. This role is all about creating meaningful customer experiences, whether in person or through thoughtful follow-up, and helping people feel excited and informed about their projects.

The life of a Showroom Consultant 
As a Showroom Consultant, where no two days are the same, you’ll be the face of Laminex, helping customers bring their ideas to life by guiding them through our product range with warmth and confidence.  Create an exceptional showroom experience by maintaining high standards, showcasing design expertise, and working closely with builders, architects, and homeowners to deliver tailored solutions. 

Your day will include:
  • Offering inspiration and practical advice for kitchens, bathrooms, laundries, and more.
  • Creating a relaxed, engaging experience that makes every visitor feel confident in their choices.
  • Listening to customer needs and helping them choose colours, finishes, and styles that suit their space.
  • Keeping the showroom inviting and well-presented.
  • Using our CRM system to maintain visit records and keep client information up to date.
  • Assisting with key trade and customer events.
  • Working closely with the Team Leader to develop skill set and training as required. 
  • Answering technical questions for a range of our products.

Hours: 20 hours per week
Days: Monday and Thursday (9:00am–5:00pm) and Saturday (9:00am–2:00pm), with flexibility to work additional days if required. 

About You
  • Like us, you will be at the forefront of building design and demonstrate a pure vision, passion and enthusiasm for creating beautiful contemporary spaces.
  • You will ideally have prior showroom or colour consultancy experience, where you are confident in guiding customers through design choices with warmth and clarity.
  • Certificate or Diploma in Interior Design or the willingness to obtain would be highly regarded but not required. 
  • Well-presented, approachable, and experienced in a customer-facing role.
  • You will bring a positive attitude to every interaction and take a proactive approach to supporting customers and the team.
  • You will have strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Be a team player and be willing and able to jump in and help on a range of tasks with the team. 
  • Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM is preferred, and strong computer literacy is essential.
