We’re looking for a Financial Accountant who enjoys working as part of a close knit, collaborative finance team and takes pride in supporting others to do their best work. This role suits someone who is technically capable, hands on, and genuinely enjoys mentoring, sharing knowledge, and contributing to a positive team culture.

About the Role

You will be part of our team that oversees the full finance function, ensuring strong financial governance while fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment. This role plays a key part in supporting and developing the accounts payable team while partnering closely with the Financial Controller.

This is a hybrid role at our Erskine Park location, offering the opportunity to work in a supportive, multi skilled team environment where collaboration and knowledge sharing are genuinely valued.

Key responsibilities include:

Accounts Payable Team lead - Leading a team of three direct reports
Preparing journals, accruals, and general ledger reviews
Completing balance sheet reconciliations and month end activities
Supporting reporting, reconciliations, and financial analysis
Assisting with standard costing and system updates
Working closely across the Finance and Operational teams
Providing day to day support and guidance to team members as needed
Contributing to process improvements and consistent ways of working

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who values teamwork just as much as technical capability.

You’ll bring:

CA or CPA qualification
Experience in a hands on accounting role within a medium to large organisation
Strong Excel skills and confidence working with ERP systems
A collaborative mindset and willingness to mentor and support others
Clear, positive communication skills and a practical approach
The ability to work to deadlines while remaining flexible and supportive of the team

Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, construction, or multi site environments is highly regarded but not essential.
