Dimond Roofing, a leader in New Zealand’s roll‑formed steel roofing and cladding solutions, is looking for a reliable and motivated Machine Operator to join our Tauranga team.

About the Role

You’ll be part of a tight‑knit production crew, operating machinery that helps deliver high‑quality roofing products to customers across the region. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in accuracy, and thrives in a manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Operating production machinery, including folders and slitter machines
• Supporting daily manufacturing tasks to meet production targets
• Handling materials safely and efficiently
• Maintaining a clean and safe work area
• Working collaboratively with the wider team

What We’re Looking For

• Forklift and gantry crane experience preferred, but not essential
• Experience using folders and slitter machines is an advantage
• Knowledge of Marxman plus Slitter and Simplex Folder especially
• A strong focus on safety and quality
• Good communication skills and a positive, team‑oriented attitude
• Reliability and willingness to learn
