The Role

You’ll lead the day-to-day facilities management of our Tauranga manufacturing site, ensuring our buildings, grounds, utilities, services, and compliance standards support a high-performing, safety-focused operation. This is a highly visible role responsible for maintaining a safe, compliant, efficient, and secure site environment. Working closely with manufacturing, maintenance, and distribution teams, you will ensure minimal disruption to operations while driving continuous improvement across site services. Key responsibilities include:

Developing and executing a planned maintenance programme for buildings, grounds, and infrastructure
Managing site services including utilities coordination, waste management, security systems, cleaning, and contractor services
Leading contractor selection, tendering, supervision, and overseeing capital projects related to buildings and site improvements
Ensuring full compliance with health, safety, environmental, and legislative requirements
Driving a strong housekeeping culture and maintaining high site presentation standards
Preparing and managing facilities budgets, controlling spend, and identifying cost efficiencies
Supporting engineering and maintenance planning functions as required

What You Bring

Trade qualification and/or 5+ years’ facilities management in a large industrial or production environment
Proven experience managing contractors and site-based projects
Strong working knowledge of HSE compliance within heavy industry
Experience with CMMS systems (MEX or similar) preferred but not essential
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset
Confident communicator with the ability to influence across operational teams
