Description

An opportunity for a corporate finance or transactions professional to step into a high impact internal strategy role, working directly with the CFO of the Light Building Products (LBP) division at Fletcher Building. Our division, spanning operations in New Zealand and Australia, is undergoing continued transformation, with a strong pipeline of capital projects, strategic initiatives and investment decisions.

This Senior Corporate Strategy Analyst role provides hands on exposure to capital investment decisions, business cases, financial modelling, and strategic planning, with analysis that directly informs senior leadership and Board level outcomes.

What you’ll do

Build and review financial models for capital projects, business cases and scenario analysis
Support valuation, investment analysis and selective M&A assessments
Contribute to divisional strategy and long term planning
Prepare high quality materials for CFO, SLT and Board stakeholders
Deliver commercial and performance insights across planning and review cycles

About you

3–6 years’ experience in investment banking, corporate finance, transaction services, consulting or similar
Strong financial modelling and commercial analysis capability
Experience supporting investment decisions or business cases
Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and working independently
