We’re growing our Asphalt team in Mount Maunganui and are looking for experienced asphalt crew members to join our Higgins Asphalt division – from labourers with hands‑on asphalt experience through to roller, paver and specialist operators.

This is a great opportunity for people who already understand asphalt works and want to continue building their career within a supportive, well‑established team.

What you’ll bring to the role:

Previous experience working in asphalt crews (labouring or operating)
Full clean New Zealand Driver’s Licence (WTR preferred for operator roles)
Experience with asphalt plant, roller or paver operations (for operator roles)
Exposure to roading, civil or infrastructure projects
Strong commitment to health and safety for yourself, your team and the public
Reliable, motivated and able to work well as part of a team
Good physical fitness due to the hands‑on nature of asphalt work
