About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an Accountant to join our close-knit team in Penrose. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role provides broad exposure across the financial function, combining transactional financial processing, monthly reporting and forecasting, key stakeholder engagement and support across various accounting functions and projects. You’ll provide financial reporting and analytical support to the Financial Controller & Commercial Business Partner, and the wider team in the preparation of financial information to stakeholders. 

Responsibilities include:
  • Prepare and analyse financial reports including the Group packs (actual vs budget)
  • Cost Centre reporting and analysis, working closely with relevant stakeholders
  • Assist with annual budgeting and own monthly forecasting
  • Complete balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis
  • Prepare month end journals and consolidation activities
  • Manage IFRS 16 leases and OPEX costing
  • Manage tax related returns month processing
  • Support the Finance team in a variety of financial tasks and projects



About You

What you will bring: 
  • CA qualified with 2–3 years’ experience in a commercial or manufacturing environment
  • Proven experience managing IFRS 16 lease accounting and OPEX cost analysis
  • Proficient in financial reporting, forecasting and tax standards
  • Advanced Excel skills, confident with IF, VLOOKUP, MATCH, and scenario modelling 
  • Power BI experience, including data modelling and visualisation capabilities advantageous
  • Experience with legacy ERP systems with the flexibility to work across multiple platforms
  • You will be thorough with high attention to detail with a super organised approach and ability to prioritise your workload with efficiency
  • A collaborative team player who is open to challenging themselves and is willing to roll up their sleeves and step in ready to assist when needed
