Comfortech is looking for an experienced Regional Sales Manager to take ownership of the South Island — a role with real autonomy, strong market opportunity, and the backing of a business ready to execute.

Comfortech is a leading provider of commercial interior fit out solutions, partnering with contractors, specifiers, and installers across New Zealand. With a strong pipeline of work and a clear commercial strategy in place, this role is focused on delivery, growth, and performance.

About the Role
Based in Christchurch, you’ll lead the South Island sales function, managing a small but diverse team while remaining hands on with key customers and major projects.
The foundations are in place — this is an opportunity to build momentum, lift performance, and shape the region’s success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and develop the South Island sales team
  • Drive regional revenue, margin, and overall sales performance
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key contractors, customers, and suppliers
  • Stay actively involved in major projects from early engagement through to supply
  • Partner closely with specification and technical teams to deliver complete solutions
  • Identify and capitalise on new commercial opportunities across the region

About You
  • Proven sales leadership experience within building materials, commercial construction, or interior fit out
  • Strong understanding of the commercial construction market (residential experience considered with solid commercial exposure)
  • Demonstrated success growing sales, accounts, or regional performance
  • Confident people leader able to bring together different experience levels and personalities
  • Well established industry relationships across contractors, installers, or suppliers
  • Christchurch-based or genuinely willing to relocate
