More About Your Role – Strathpine (Brisbane) 

As a People & Performance Business Partner, you will play a critical role in supporting our leaders across a variety of functions, as a trusted advisor for all things ‘People & Performance’. A true generalist role, with exposure to a broad range of IR/ER matters, your considered, fair and commercially savvy approach will be valued. 

You will partner with manufacturing and support service stakeholders by building credibility on the ground, understanding the realities of their environment, and providing practical, balanced people solutions. You will be comfortable stepping into a challenge, believing in your skills, and influencing outcomes through strong relationships and clear communication.

Working as part of a small, highly collaborative and supportive People & Performance team, this role will let you contribute to a positive team culture where ideas are shared, wins are celebrated, and support is always on offer. This role will suit someone who enjoys being hands on, thrives on autonomy, and takes pride in being a trusted partner who adds real value to the business every day.

Some of Your Key Responsibilities 

  • Be a trusted partner by your stakeholders to support them through all People & Performance matters 
  • Manage ER/IR matters in an efficient way, leveraging your experience to provide sound advice in an end-to-end manner (including Performance Improvement, Enterprise Agreement Negotiations, Policy & Award Interpretation, Union Engagement and Grievance Management)
  • Participate in Strategic projects and identify opportunities to elevate the overall employee experience within your portfolio (and the business), through engagement, capability, culture, and business optimisation initiatives
  • Bring a solutions-based mindset and proactive approach 
More About You 
  • Confident in managing a broad range of employee relations matters, partnering closely with leaders to achieve fair and practical outcomes
  • Experienced in unionised environments, with the ability to lead Enterprise Agreement negotiations and maintain constructive union relationships.
  • Extensive success in a People & Performance business partner role, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial environment. 
  • Hold qualifications in Human Resources 
  • Confident in Microsoft office especially excel & PowerPoint, Workday (or similar)
