About the Role

This is a hands-on survey role supporting a wide range of above-ground civil construction projects across Auckland. You will work closely with site teams, engineers, and project leaders to deliver accurate, practical survey outcomes that keep projects moving. You will be supported by experienced senior surveyors and given exposure to varied work to grow your capability.

  • Deliver set-out, as-built, topographical and monitoring surveys across multiple projects
  • Work closely with construction teams including site engineers, forepersons, project managers and designers
  • Establish, maintain and check survey control and data accuracy
  • Support project delivery across complex civil infrastructure works
  • Use survey and CAD tools to prepare and manage survey information
  • Learn from senior survey staff and contribute positively to the wider team

What You’ll Bring

  • A minimum of three years surveying experience 
  • Tertiary qualification in surveying 
  • Experience in civil construction environments, with exposure to infrastructure, roading or subdivisions
  • Confidence using Trimble equipment and AutoCAD
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to work comfortably with people at all levels
  • A practical mindset, strong learning ability, and a positive, reliable approach to work
