About the Role

This role leads a crew in a hands-on environment. You will be responsible for your team delivering concrete structures ie. Bridges, pump stations etc on busy civil construction sites. Keep daily work moving safely, smoothly and to plan. You guide tasks, support your team, and help deliver quality work on time.

Manage daily site activities and allocate tasks across the crew.
Plan one‑week work programmes and support delivery of the five‑week look‑ahead.
Monitor progress, record time and materials, and keep accurate quality and safety notes.
Identify risks, put controls in place, and support a strong safety culture.
Coordinate people, plant and materials to avoid delays.
Work with subcontractors, external labour suppliers and the project team to solve problems and keep work on track.

What You’ll Bring

At least 5 years’ experience in civil infrastructure work specialising in concrete structures
NZ Certificate in Concrete Construction or similar essential
Clean full Class 1 licence, WTR would be a bonus
Qualified and competent working at heights and using EWP’s
Experience leading teams of at least 5 people.
Experience overseeing subcontractors.
Ability to read drawings and explain construction details to others.
Clear communication, good organisation and steady decision‑making under pressure.
Commitment to safe work practices, environmental care and supporting wellbeing on site.
