About the Role

In this role you will lead onsite teams and coordinate the daily work needed to deliver safe, well planned and high-quality civil construction outcomes. The position brings crews, subcontractors and the wider project team together through clear communication and organised planning.

  • Lead teams of 5 to 20 people across multiple work fronts.
  • Plan month‑ahead work and set up clear daily and weekly tasks.
  • Monitor progress, record time and materials and keep accurate quality notes.
  • Identify risks early and put practical controls in place.
  • Coordinate plant, materials and subcontractors to prevent delays.
  • Support safe work practices and complete reviews, investigations and reporting.

What You’ll Bring

  • At least 10 years’ experience in trade‑based civil infrastructure work.
  • Proven ability to grow and develop front line staff.
  • Experience leading teams of at least 10 people.
  • Experience managing subcontractors and projects valued at $10m or more.
  • Ability to read drawings and explain construction details to others.
  • Clear communication, steady judgement and organised work habits.
  • Commitment to safe work, environmental care and fair, respectful leadership.
