Senior Project Manager – Palmerston North

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the successful bidding and delivery of key projects across our network, with specific focus on 3 waters delivery. You’ll play a critical role in managing complex contracts, building strong client relationships, and ensuring our projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.

As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead with integrity, uphold our safety and quality expectations, and represent the Higgins brand with professionalism while guiding your team to deliver outstanding results.

What You’ll Bring to the Role

Construction Project Management qualification or 10+ years’ relevant experience
Strong understanding of the Construction Contracts Act and NZS3910
Proven experience leading, coaching and developing project teams
Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects from tender through to delivery
Strong focus on client relationships and long term partnership building
Excellent financial acumen, including forecasting, cost control and reporting
Strong focus on health, safety and environmental compliance
Ability to proactively identify and manage project risks
High level of organisation, communication and problem solving skills
Full, clean Class 1 NZ driver licence
