We’re looking for a Cement Operations Coordinator to join our welcoming team in Portland for a 6 – 12month fixed term contract. If you enjoy variety, collaboration, and keeping things running smoothly, this could be a great fit.

What we offer

• Monday–Friday role
• Hours generally 7:30am–4:00pm (flexible start between 6:00am–7:30am)
• Extra hours during high‑demand periods (e.g., shutdowns)

What you’ll do

• Coordinate materials, contractors, and suppliers
• Support delivery of imported materials to site
• Assist with POs, budgets, reporting, and reconciliations
• Help align production and supply plans
• Support dispatch operations and team training
• Oversee township and dwelling maintenance activity
• Update SOPs and contribute to improvement work
• Promote safe practices and positive HSE behaviours

What you’ll bring

Essential

• Experience with scopes and RFQs
• Supervision experience on industrial sites
• Knowledge of NZ HSE legislation and risk‑management tools

Helpful

• Understanding of local suppliers
• Cement/heavy‑industry experience
• MEX or JDE familiarity
