About the Role

Brian Perry Civil is looking for an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team. Working across a range of civil construction projects, you'll operate machinery safely and efficiently while supporting the crew to deliver high-quality work. This is a hands-on role where you'll be part of a team that takes pride in doing the job right.

This is a full time permanent role, working up to 56 hours per week.

  • Operate excavators and other civil construction plant safely and efficiently
  • Complete excavation, trenching, grading and earthworks activities
  • Carry out daily pre-start checks and basic plant maintenance
  • Read plans and work to site specifications and project requirements
  • Work closely with supervisors and crew members to keep projects moving
  • Support the wider team with labouring, spotting and other site duties when required

What You’ll Bring

  • At least 3 years' experience operating excavators in a civil construction environment
  • Class 1 Driver Licence and WTR endorsements
  • Strong knowledge of construction plant, equipment and safe operating practices
  • Ability to read and follow plans, instructions and work schedules
  • A proactive approach to health, safety and looking out for your team
  • Reliable, practical and willing to pitch in wherever needed
