About the Role

Brian Perry Civil is looking for an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team. Working across a range of civil construction projects, you'll operate machinery safely and efficiently while supporting the crew to deliver high-quality work. This is a hands-on role where you'll be part of a team that takes pride in doing the job right.

This is a full time permanent role, working up to 56 hours per week.

Operate excavators and other civil construction plant safely and efficiently
Complete excavation, trenching, grading and earthworks activities
Carry out daily pre-start checks and basic plant maintenance
Read plans and work to site specifications and project requirements
Work closely with supervisors and crew members to keep projects moving
Support the wider team with labouring, spotting and other site duties when required

What You’ll Bring

At least 3 years' experience operating excavators in a civil construction environment
Class 1 Driver Licence and WTR endorsements
Strong knowledge of construction plant, equipment and safe operating practices
Ability to read and follow plans, instructions and work schedules
A proactive approach to health, safety and looking out for your team
Reliable, practical and willing to pitch in wherever needed
