Our role

Dricon is looking for a proactive Leading Hand to support daily production operations while taking ownership of plant performance, quality, and team coordination. If you enjoy leading from the front, solving problems on the fly, and keeping machinery in top shape, this role is built for you.

Current roster: Mon-Thurs (6.30am - 5pm), Fri (6.30am - 4pm)
Waikanae based
Hourly rate, weekly paid

As the Leading Hand, you’ll combine front‑line leadership with hands‑on production work, ensuring the plant operates safely, efficiently, and to specification. You’ll support operators, maintain workflow, and play a key role in achieving production targets.

We’re looking for someone who can spot issues early, carry out basic mechanical tasks, and help minimise downtime.

What You’ll Bring

Mechanical aptitude or experience with basic maintenance tasks
Background in manufacturing, production, or industrial operations
Confidence leading and supporting a team
Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
