About the Role

This Senior Estimator role sits at the centre of winning and shaping complex civil infrastructure work. You will lead pricing on major tenders across a varied pipeline that includes bridges and technically challenging projects. Working with experienced teams, you will guide the estimating approach, support junior estimators, and help secure work that delivers strong outcomes.

Lead the preparation of accurate, competitive cost estimates for civil projects
Build first principle pricing, quantity take-offs and cost models
Manage tender submissions across multiple bids at once
Work closely with project, commercial and design teams to shape methodology and pricing strategy
Engage with suppliers and subcontractors to source and adjudicate quotes
Mentor and support estimators during tender processes

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for someone who enjoys solving complex pricing challenges and brings strong civil estimating capability.

Around 10+ years’ experience in estimating, ideally within civil construction
Tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field
Proven experience pricing infrastructure projects such as bridges, structures or heavy civil works
Strong understanding of first principle estimating and cost modelling tools
Ability to review drawings, specifications and identify key risks and opportunities
Confident communicator who can build relationships and guide others
