About the Role

This is a hands‑on office administration role at the heart of a busy construction office. You’ll be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, keep the office running smoothly, and provide practical support across the team. The work is varied, fast‑paced, and suits someone who enjoys structure, clear processes, and being relied on.

  • Managing front‑of‑house reception, calls, and visitor sign‑in
  • Ordering and maintaining PPE, stationery, and office supplies
  • Raising purchase orders and supporting invoice processes
  • Supporting onboarding for new starters, including inductions and setup
  • Assisting with health and safety administration and registers
  • Providing day‑to‑day admin support to the wider team and new business functions

What You’ll Bring

  • Previous experience in office administration, reception, or coordination roles
  • Confidence communicating with a wide range of people
  • Strong Word and Excel skills and confidence learning new systems
  • Well organised, calm under pressure, and able to prioritise competing tasks
  • A practical, common‑sense approach and willingness to pitch in
  • A positive attitude, curiosity to learn, and pride in keeping things running well

Experience with systems such as JDE, Workforce, Workday, or similar is helpful, but training will be provided.
