The opportunity

We’re looking for a Product Master Data Specialist based in Victoria to own and uplift product master data governance across the Laminex business. This role is responsible for the governance, quality, lifecycle management and continuous improvement of product master data across business systems—supporting supply chain, manufacturing, sales, marketing and digital channels.

A key focus is evolving workflows and processes towards a more modern, system-driven master data environment, helping establish a scalable capability for the future (including PIM/PLM uplift).

Key responsibilities

Manage end-to-end product master data lifecycle (creation, maintenance, changes, retirement)
Oversee product attributes, hierarchies, and classifications
Align master data rules and business requirements with R&D, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Sales, and Marketing
Serve as main contact for product master data inquiries and projects
Lead data quality improvement and cleansing efforts
Drive adoption of updated product master data systems and processes (PIM/PLM)
Help design scalable, governed, and system-enforced workflows
Supervise new product setup in ERP systems (BPCS & ASW) for integrated transactions
Update product status across lifecycle stages daily (active, off-range, obsolete)
Perform master data entry and maintenance activities to ensure accuracy
Use workflow tools to manage product data requests and maintain audit trails

What we’re looking for

3–5+ years in Master Data Management, Data Governance, or a similar data-focused role
Hands-on experience with large ERP environments (e.g., BPCS, ASW, M3, SAP, Oracle)
Experience establishing and managing a single source of truth for product data
Proven track record improving data quality and uplifting processes in a complex business environment
Background in manufacturing, distribution or supply chain
Exposure to Product Information Management (PIM) systems (PLM experience desirable)
Strong stakeholder influence and communication skills—comfortable working with technical and non-technical teams
A change mindset—able to contribute to process redesign and system implementation activity

Desirable

Tertiary qualification in Business, Information Systems, Supply Chain or similar
Advanced analysis capability (Access/Excel/Power BI/SQL) and/or BigQuery exposure
