The Role
We are searching for a driven and commercially savvy Area Sales Manager to join our Auckland team. This is a  sales role where you’ll build strong relationships with merchants while also engaging with builders, installers, and other industry professionals to grow market presence and drive sales. You’ll balance delivering on sales targets whilst maintaining strong existing relationships and proactively identifying new opportunities. Day-to-day, you’ll be out in the market connecting with merchant partners, specifiers, and customers on site, as well as attending trade shows strengthening connections, creating demand and identifying new opportunities.

About You
  • We are looking for someone who brings energy, drive and commercial acumen along with a natural ability to connect with people. Your background will ideally include:
  • Experienced sales professional with some knowledge of the building industry.
  • Strong relationship-building and influencing skills with ability to communicate effectively with people from a range of backgrounds.
  • Commercial awareness, with experience in pricing, margin and value selling.
  • Confidence presenting information, influencing decisions and solving problems to achieve business goals.
  • A personable, professional approach with strong follow-through.
