Production Welder – Full‑Time
Location: Auckland
Hours: Monday–Friday, 5am–1:30pm (Minimum 40hrs per week)
Pay: $31hr
We are seeking x2 experienced Production Welders to join our prefabrication team. This role is responsible for welding reinforcing products to customer specifications, maintaining high accuracy, and supporting DIFOTIS performance.
Key Responsibilities
  • MIG welding of reinforcing products to specification
  • Cutting and preparing reinforcing materials
  • Recording production outputs and material usage
  • Maintaining a clean, safe work area
  • Reporting defects and supporting quality control
  • Following all health, safety, and environmental procedures, including hazard and incident reporting
     
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years’ welding experience (Trade Certificate Level 4 preferred)
  • Strong MIG welding skills; reinforcing welding experience essential
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in safety‑sensitive industries
  • Experience welding reinforcing materials (bars, lids, d‑walls, pile cages, etc.).
  • Proven commitment to health & safety
  • High accuracy and low wastage
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work with minimal supervision
