  • Interpreting architectural/structural plans, relevant regulations and codes of practice to determine Frame & Truss scope and estimating requirements
  • Preparing preliminary sketches, working drawings and specifications to support estimating and quoting outputs
  • Preparing, editing and revising plans, mark-ups, charts and drawings in accordance with customer requirements and internal systems

  • Performing routine computations, measurements and preliminary checks to validate assumptions and support estimating accuracy
  • Collecting and recording project information required for estimates, including clarifications from customers, suppliers, subcontractors and internal stakeholders

  • Strong numeracy, attention to detail, and ability to work to deadlines
  • Strong communication skills (able to engage customers and stakeholders confidently)
  • Strong computer skills (Excel capability preferred, training available on internal systems)
Preferred
  • Experience using MiTek Sapphire (preferred) or MiTek 20/20
  • Building industry knowledge and an understanding of construction processes and documentation
  • Customer service and/or sales experience

Our Benefits:
  • Competitive hourly rate and staff-buying privileges
